Sustainable and Resilient Geotechnical Infrastructure Laboratory

Prof. Lei Wang, Ph.D., P.E.
Dr. Wang is an Assistant Professor of Civil Engineering and the Director of the Sustainable and Resilient Geotechnical Infrastructure Laboratory at University of Cincinnati. He received his PhD in civil engineering from Clemson University. He has an extensive research experience in geotechnical engineering and infrastructure risk and resilience, including geotechnical risk and reliability, risk and resilience assessment of civil infrastructure, underground excavation and tunneling, soil/rock-structure interaction, numerical and centrifuge modeling, earth dams and levees, foundation engineering, and geotechnical earthquake engineering. He has published over 70 refereed journal and conference papers. His research has been supported by NSF, NASA, USDA, USGS, and NIST. He was a recipient of many honors and awards, including the Best Paper Award by Taiwan Geotechnical Society.
